Tips for Cooking Crab-Stuffed Salmon With Forbidden Rice

CHEF BLONDIE: So a couple of little tips with this recipe. There are many things that you can do with a leftover filling for the salmon. One of the things we did was make a wonderful crab cake. You have a very health conscious food here. Salmon is great, it's filled with omega, fatty acids, it's good for the body. The butter although it may seem like it's a very decadent side sauce, it really isn't. You've got maybe three tablespoons of butter, it's the emulsification that makes it seem like we have a lot of butter. And the last tip and this is one of my favorite things to pair with salmon would be a mango salsa. You can simply get a piece of mango from the store, grab your regular tomato salsa, cut your mango in, put it in the refrigerator overnight and then the next day when you make your salmon, set a little of the salsa on the top and you'll have a wonderful bring flavor added to the salmon. This is Pam Bowman or Chef Blondie as I'm known on ExpertVillage.com. Looking forward to seeing you back here for an all new exciting recipe that you can do in the comfort of your own home and to have everyone think that you are a gourmet chef with long training in French culinary techniques but guess what, there's a secret to it and that secret is something that you and I share together when we do these wonderful dishes. See you again real soon.
