Introduction to Lying Down Poses in Hatha Yoga

MARCELLE LEE: Marcelle Lee here from Expert Village. Well, welcome back! I'm glad to see you again. Let's go over a few items that we did previous lessons just to make sure we can be ready right now for this wonderful third session, okay. So, as I said before, very, very important, your breath, your posture, and your alignment, whether you're lying down, whether you're sitting, whether you're standing, all the same. So, sitting down, let's just start getting our focus into the present moment, want to leave our thoughts behind, so we can take this next time to relax, and to enjoy, and feel the benefits of yoga. Okay, now in this particular session, we are going to cover a lot of different areas in the body. We're going to just lie down, we're going to do some lying down on the abdominals, type stretches and poses, and we'll also work something on the knees, working into the downward, lying down positions. But basically, it's all the same, okay. Your breath, your posture, and alignment before you begin whatever you do.
