Welcome, I hope you find a nice comfortable spot; nice and quiet. If possible have a carpet or a little towel underneath you. You can even dim the lights, that would be very nice because I will be teaching you relaxation breaths, posture, and alignment and you will also be incorporating this into your yoga postures and stretches. So we will start now by sitting up nice and tall. Okay a lot of people tend to sit like this, okay right now is the beginning of a new life a new healthy life so what you want to do for all these people who sit like this is you want to make a fist and bring it all the way around to your hips and lift. So this is quite easy, you can do this anywhere and if possible when you are sitting down in chairs or places or an automobile you want to sit with a straight back okay, this way you can get your spine to be growing this way instead of rounded that tends to happen as you grow older if you don't correct your posture you will start to grow this way which you don't want to do. You want to be as tall and handsome as you can. So hand behind your hip nice and tall. You want to be squeezing your abdominals in and up. Squeezing your abdominals. We're going to start working your abdominals as well. Strengthening abdominals every time you squeeze them you are strengthening them okay. So here we are from round to sitting up resting your hands gently on your knees taking your abdominals in and see how that lifts you? Great, now let's move on to the shoulders. So your want to move your shoulders way up to your ears and you want to take them way back. Okay now this is the secret to good posture; you take them down back okay. So let's do that a few times. Shoulders go up way up, they go way back and they go down back.
