Hi. I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to add some festive decorations to your Thanksgiving day. Some people like to have more of the traditional...pinecones, or an actual cornucopia - those type of things. Other people, for the decorations, are fine with streamers and other things you can get at the party store. If you're falling in the camp of the second group of people, I'm talking about, then consider having some balloons. Balloons are a great easy decoration for you to add. If you don't mind getting some of your decorations at a party store and that kind of fits with your style - they're great. Just like with everything else we talked about, try to keep your fall colors going on. You're going to be sticking to oranges, yellows and if your find them - browns. In recent years, browns have kind of become more difficult to find in things like balloons streamers and other party supply stuff. It's not the most popular color, but it works very very well. The easy thing to do is to put up balloons. You can have them down along the ground. I've seen them tacked up on the walls or stuck to the walls. You just got to be careful if you have pets. You don't want pets biting them. They can also represent a choking hazard for both pets and children when they're deflated. So make sure to keep them up high away from children and pets. Also, they will not float unless you have a helium inflator. So don't expect for you to blow up a balloon for them to float. It's a no go there, but balloons can be a real nice decoration for your holiday as well.
