Hi! I am Nili Nathan; I have a TV show and a website, Great Healing Getaways. I write, research and host on holistic health from around the world. Today I am talking to you about aromatherapy and how you can make some aromatherapy products right in your own home. Combining essential oils can be very simple. The relaxing four are usually known as lavender, ylang-ylang, petitgrain and clary sage. I want to show you how you can combine the two of them; lavender and clary sage to make a lotion, a body lotion that will promote sleep. What you do is you take your favorite lotion, just pour about I would say one ounce into a container like this. You want to take three drops of lavender; we are using 100% pure essential oil of lavender; very carefully not to get it on your skin or your eyes. Then we will take one drop of clary sage and drop it in there being very careful when you use the essential oils. Take your wooden stick, mix it up into your favorite lotion and now you can use this and rub it on your body at night before you go to sleep. It will help promote sleep. If you do not want to do this, another option would be to take the lavender oil and the one drop of clary sage and just put it right into a warm bath swirl the water around before you get in and enjoy. That will relax you.
