The Circle Lunge Workout on a Fitness Disc

This exercise is called the circle lunge. It's going to progress from the reverse lunge and/or the forward lunge. We're going to start with the reverse lunge first, and as I slide my foot back into reverse lunge, I'm going to circle it around to the front and pull in. So I reach behind me, circle around and pull in. From the side -reach, circle and pull in. Once you've done about 8 or so repetitions with one leg, you can work to the other leg. So again, a nice neutral body and upper-spine neutral body. So that's our reverse circle lunge. From a forward position, you're going to just push the disc out and circle around, push out and circle around. So again, about 8 repetitions on each leg, switching to the other leg, and to progress this exercise even further I can alternate from side to side, so push back with the right and circle, and then the left. This only not becomes cardiovascular exercise; it also adds a lot of core stability to the movement. So circle and pull circle and pull, pushing the foot, the ball of the foot, through the floor the entire time throughout the circle lunge.
