On behalf of Expert Village I am Nicholas the Storyteller here in Miami, Florida and today I'm going to teach you how to tell a story. Boomers stop the flow. Yes. A Boomer, let me explain it to you. A boomer is something that distracts your audience from the story that you are telling. A little while ago an airplane went overhead. It was a boomer. Yes, it distracted us from the story that we are telling now. So, we dealt with it by re-doing that episode. But, you can't always do that. No, there are times, like in a coffee house, somebody turns on the latte machine, I will have to deal with it. I will have to say, Oh somebody let that dragon in here. Or, you can get rid of boomers ahead of time. Like, there is a boomer I got rid of in the story about Sir Gowen. The problem was that the original story had the character, Sir Trojan. Now, I have nothing against Sir Trojan but we had to change his name because if I had called him that it would have stopped the flow.
