Okay for smokey or darker colors you’re going to want to use a brush with lots of bristles and they need to be kind of widely spaced. Always blow on the brush before you apply it or else the powder’s going to get all over your face. I’m just kind of applying dark to the outside of her eye and along the creases to contour it. You just want it kind of on the lash line and on the crease. And then bring it out just a little bit for a dramatic look. Blend it very very well with your finger. And to get a definition you can just take a little bit of lighter eye shadow, white, put it between the lash line and crease.
ummmm... did you put concealer on the eye first...and thats not how you apply the smokey eye. My mom worked in the make-up industry before...
I feel sorry for this poor model she probable went home with a face full of bacteria who ever taught this lady how to do makeup, if anyone did that is needs to be taught there self. Is she a makeup artist or a comedian. I bet she dont get many clients.
you seeeeeriously shouldn't be a makeup artist. You stutter, act like a ditz, and you're obviously too afraid to let anyone see the end results because we never actually see how it looks at the end. Maybe you should try a desk job.
i agree about not blowing the brush and to tap it instead. but of course you can use your hands to apply make-up nearly every proffesional uses their middle or ring finger to apply. sponges just absorb the makeup causing not enough coverage to the face. also spreading dirt from previous applications.
Wow!! You guys are so mean!!
UMMM....DUDE THIS MAKE-UP LOOKS EVERYTHING BUT SMOKEY...JAJAJAJA
Do you know how much bacteria you transfer to a brush when you blow on it?! Not only does air come out of your mouth but lots of saliva droplets! Totally unprofessional when working on someone else. The correct thing to do is TAP the brush against the side of the eyeshadow container. Gross!
Rule #1 & 2 Common sense and learned at Joe Blasco: Never ever blow on a makeup brush. That's just gross and not proper etiquette. Always tap your brush to remove any excess powder. And don't touch the face with your hands because your fingers have natural oils that can change the consistency of the makeup. Always use a tissue/powder puff/sponge.
okay...she blew on the brush!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
