Cleaning a Door Jamb Car Detailing Tips
Hi! I am Bob Osborne with Expert Village. Cleaning doorjambs is a lot easier than most people think. If you use the same cleaner that you are using on your wheels and most of these cleaners, you do not have to worry about any problems on materials like paint and plastic, but be careful with polish aluminum and because it will scar polish aluminum and some automobiles actually have small pieces of trim that are polish aluminum. So if that is the case, be very careful about using these kinds of products on the jambs, but this is the wheel cleaner and it is diluted. I spray it into the doorjamb. I take a paintbrush and I agitate, again just lightly and then just rinse being careful not to get too much water on the inside of the car and that’s it.
