Hi this is Matt on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to learn how to make my chicken shrimp penne pasta with homemade Alfredo sauce. Okay let's bring some water to a boil. Now that it is boiling we are going to throw in some oil so the pasta does not stick together and then we are going to throw in some salt for taste. Now we are going to add in our pasta. Now we are going to cook our pasta and keep stirring it so it does not stick together but the oil will help with that. We are going to keep cooking it and I want you to keep checking back with because we don't want to be too soggy. We want it to be firm yet you know chewy but definitely firm. So let's wait a little while and we are going to let this cook. Make sure you keep stirring it, we don't want to stick together while it is cooking. Just periodically stir. Still now down yet so we have another few minutes. Just take your spoon and grab some of the pasta and just with your finger you can test it. You kind of (watch it it is a little hot) this feels like it is not too soft, it is firm. So I think we are about done. So what we are going to do is we are going to strain. Shake this to take the excess water out. Okay now that our shrimp and chicken is down and the vegetables. Our pasta is done now we are going to make our homemade Alfredo sauce.
