Use Cargo Dividers when Traveling with Your Dog

Let’s talk about dividers for the back of SUV’s and cars. Here is one that I got on line. It is totally adjustable both vertically and horizontally and just make sure that you get one that is designed to go in your particular car then you can make it fit just right. Okay, now I will show you how to put in this particular divider. Basically you can think of it like a tripod and that the legs kind of slide downward so I will start by loosening the two legs a little bit and I put this divider mostly together. It was very simple. Yours will be a bit different. Now I will just bring it up to the ceiling here and then get it as straight as I can for the first test and I’ll tighten up the legs a bit so it will stand up on its own. Next you want to take these horizontals and move them outwards so that your dog will be blocked from going forward and something to keep in mind when you are buying these is try to get one that has little parts sticking out as possible depending on how much your dog is interested in small parts and chewing. Also you might want to get one that is more permanently mounted. This kind here that attaches to the ceiling and floor with tension sometimes might tend to fall down if it gets loose so a more permanent one might be okay. Basically that is how you install this type of divider. Pip let’s go. Jump. Good girl. Sit. Good girl. Hey how do you like that divider? Pretty neat huh?
