Hello! I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, today I am going to show you how to make Cranberry Sauce. Now that our water and sugar are boiling, I am going to take the lid off and turn the heat down just a little bit. We don't want it to be too ferocious of a boil when we are adding our cranberries. So we are going to add the cranberries and it is important to make sure that you are not splashing too much when you add the cranberries. Something good to know when making Cranberry Sauce is that you can use either fresh cranberries straight from the grocery store or you can use frozen cranberries and you don't have to adjust the cooking time at all. Now we are stirring the cranberries in. You want to get them all wet and under the water and then we are going to put the lid back on and wait for the cranberries to start cooking before we add anything else. We can see that the cranberries are cooking and you can hear them starting to split their skins. You want to stir this several times while it is cooking. You also want to be sure that you are very careful because this is incredibly hot and it hurts a lot and burns quite easily and the split cranberries start getting on your skin.
