Ingredients for Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Hello! I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, today I am going to show you how to make Cranberry Sauce. First for the Cranberry Sauce, let's talk about the ingredients. The most important part of our Cranberry Sauce is of course, the cranberries. What you will need is one 12 ounce bag of cranberries which is the standard size that they come. The next most important part of cranberries because they are tart, is sugar. You will need 1 cup of sugar for the entire 12 ounce bag. Next is water. You will need 1 cup of water in order to make the Cranberry Sauce. After that, it is up to you if you would like to add any more things. There are various ingredients that you can add to the Cranberry Sauce to make it more interesting. Personally, I like adding a little bit of spice. So I am going to add some cinnamon, about 1 teaspoon and also some candied crystallized ginger. This just adds something a little special and the pieces of it come out quite nicely in the Cranberry Sauce.
