Avoiding Distractions when Writing Christmas Songs

Hi, I'm Erica Lane with Expert Village talking about how to write a Christmas song on the guitar. It's very important when you are preparing to sit down and write a song to find a quiet place to reflect and to think in. A place like that would be a study or a library or your own bedroom but it's important that you go to a place where you are not going to have any distractions. Because when you are going through the thought process of writing a song your brain can really open up and start flowing. It's really hard to keep that momentum when somebody is coming in and constantly distracting you or you are hearing lots of noises outside. So make sure that you find a quiet place where you can concentrate and really get your process going.
