How to Do Combination Steps in Bachata Dance

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Rodney Lopez and I'm Amelia Maldonado. We're here at Dance Manhattan Studios here in New York City, and we're teaching you bachata. After you've practiced your basics steps, feel free to put them together in different combinations. Amelia and I will demonstrate not only the basic step, but we'll also go side to side, we'll go forward and back, and we'll do the he goes she goes turns. Starting from the beginning, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. This is just the basic step that goes side to side. Now I can walk forward. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. We'll go back to a side basic before we actually lead the under arm turn for the lady. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1, 2, 3, 4. Now the gentlemen can go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1, 2, 3, 4. Now we can go both together. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
