Applying Sauce to BBQ Beef Ribs: Part 2

On behalf of Expert Village I'm Terry and today we are going to talk about preparing barbecue ribs for cooking. Okay it has been 4 1/2 to 5 minutes, I am back up to 300 degrees. So I'm going to flip them over and baste the underside which will let this barbecue sauce that I have applied just the first application. It will be able to caramelized and get all cooked on there. Now if you are doing a big party and let's say you are cooking 10-11 racks, you can pare baking like I did and actually put them in the freezer or refrigerator depending on how long it is going to be before you need them. Then you just bring all out here and throw them all in the grill at one time but if you do that you want to keep your heat low. You only want to cook them at 250 degrees just or just under 300. Now we are going to close the lid and let that go aback up to almost 300 degrees. Like I said we would continue to do this 2 or 3 times.
