Hello, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to set your table for Thanksgiving Day dinner. Now that you've finished Thanksgiving dinner and you cleared the table what about washing your china. Well if you have fine china particularly ones with intrigued designs painted on it or perhaps silver or gold edging. You want to be extra special careful when you are washing your plates the first thing to remember besides washing them. Anything that has a medal rim to it cannot go in the microwave so don't even think about heating up leftovers on your fine china. Secondly, anything that has fine detail work you probably don't want to put into the dishwasher, some of the plates will say that they are dishwasher safe on the back. After a few years of washing them things are going to look a little dingy, the chimes are going to go away from the edge so you really don't want to chance that. The same with all of your crystal ware too, it might say that it might be dishwasher safe but you risk the chance of pitting happening and the glasses from the particles of the soap. So you want to hand wash all of your fine china if you're using silverware you want to make sure that you hand wash also and dry it immediately so that it doesn't have a chance to tarnish. Using and properly caring for your china make sure that they are going to last for years so that you can pass them on to your grandchildren even.
