Proper Cups at Thanksgiving Place Setting

Hello, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to set your table for Thanksgiving Day dinner. Now that we have our water glass and our wine glasses there might be also a time where you are going to be serving hot tea or coffee. Usually this would be during the dessert course but I'm going to show you how you can have it set up so that you are ready before hand. You will need the teacup and saucer and you are going to put it to the right of your place setting, you want to make sure that all of the drinking glasses and cups are to the right. Because the majority of people are right handed regardless of what lefty's say and you want to have it so they are not reaching across their plate to get something to drink. This is where you have spills, where you are going to knock over glasses. You want to make sure that everything is where people are going to be able to reach it most easily. So if you are going to have a dessert course and you want to have coffee with it you have your teacup. If you don't want to have the teacup out while you are serving dinner then you can go ahead and have it off to the side board and people can pick up their cups with there dessert after dinner.
