Proper Glassware at Thanksgiving Place Setting

Hello, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to set your table for Thanksgiving Day dinner. Now besides eating at your Thanksgiving dinner there will presumably also be some drinking. I don't even mean the alcoholic type and the very basic minimum you're going to need a water goblet at your place setting. A water goblet can be put out for everybody children and adult alike because everyone is going to need a drink of water. Now if you're going to have a wine selection as well then you are probably going to want a least one other wine goblet at your place setting. Now how to position the goblets with relationship to the plate as you always put the largest one towards the center, although not at the center a little bit off to the right. Then you have a smaller glass going towards the right so this is a light wine glass it would go right here if you were having a wine glass as well. Then it is going to go in the middle in between both of them, it is up to you rather or not you are going to have three or four glasses at the place setting. But it is good to always have different options for your guest so they can decide rather if they want to drink just water, red wine or white wine.
