Finish Rye Bread Dough
Hi, my name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I am going to show you how to make Rye Bread. So now you'll see how it is pulling away pretty clean the sides of here and it is pulling everything to the bottom. So that is where we want it to be at now from a texture stand point. You can see that it is working evenly around the dough hook so since you have had to work it quite a bit that it is. You get to rewind if you don't want to over work it. So I'm going to let this go for probably another 3 or 4 minutes before it rises. So I'll come back in 3 or 4 minutes and we will set this up and leave it alone for a couple of hours. So we've got to this point and we are going to take the salt that we have here, just dump it in a little bit at a time and make sure your dough picks it up. There we go so we are going to let this go for about another 3 or 4 minutes an then we are going to come back and it should be ready to start proofing then so another couple more minutes, we are ready to go.
You can see how it looks exactly. It is pulling away evenly from the sidewalls of the bowl. You can see how it is pulling away. It is not leaving a whole lot of residue on the side of the bowl.
