So having your own pig also comes with all the joys of all the bad things that come with it and that includes illnesses or such as this pen. Hazel here has completely pretty much dug it up and after a whole week of raining, there is standing water. That comes with mosquitoes and also comes with this wafting smell of all the mud and her mixed manure. You know neighbors down the road may not appreciate that as well. They want to think about location before you get your pigs and how your neighbors may feel about it. It also comes with diseases or common problems. When she gave birth to her litter, it was important for us after a while to get rid of her piglets. Piglets can drink too much of her milk and she doesn't get the proper nutrition if the pigs keep milking off of her. You always have to keep an eye on your animals just to see where they are and if they need proper vet to look after them. Give them more food or if they are getting their nutrient requirements.
