Using Remix on YouTube

CRAIG SCIME: You are watching Expert Village. You area watching me, Craig Scime, from Clear Star Media, as I tell you a little bit about YouTube and how to get your video on there. In the last segment, we showed you if you just had a web cam, let's say you don't have all these fancy equipment to get on the internet, to get videos taken of you, and to get yourself on the internet, then what I showed you is using a web cam, that simple little web cam. Some have 'em built right into their computer. You can utilize that to get yourself on the internet and on YouTube. So let's take a look at my clip that I just recorded here. So, there you have it, you can see the clip right there. As I said, of course, a microphone, a camera, and light are key. Now, the reason why that quality of that video is not the greatest was, of course, because I'm using an older web cam and of course, I had movement. The more movement you have on, on video that's going up on the internet or on the web, is will maybe break up and get those little boxes on the screen there. Now, the other thing you could do here is, of course, we're going to go back to my account, by clicking on my name, and I'm going to click on videos and edit videos. Now, here's a list of all of my videos. Now, what I can do is, of course, remove them or do anything I like with them, but what I really want to show you is this button right here, remix video. Click on that remix video and what will open up is called a YouTube remixer. Now, Adobe Premier is going to open up. Adobe is a very well known program that many people use. Of course, maybe you've heard of Photoshop? Well, they also make an editing software called Premier. This allows you to actually go in and do some little bit of editing. You could some special effects on, you could put some borders on, and some really neat things and features to really make your clips something that you never thought you can do. So, take a chance, go ahead and play with the Remixer, and make your videos look like Hollywood movies. Have fun with YouTube, we'll wrap things up in our next segment.
