How to Write "Mountain" in Chinese

This word is shan. Shan. Shan. Read first tone. Shan. "Shan" means "a mountain." A mountain. So we write in this way: first stroke, second, third. Actually, the original Chinese characters is more like pictures. For example, this shan - mountain - is write like this. Really the shape is a mountain, and eventually it changed, it changed, to this mark: shan. It means, "mountain." So if we say, "ci shan." Remember this word? Ci - this or the - shan. "Ci shan" means, "this mountain, the mountain."
