How to Import Photos Using Playstation 3

Hello my name is Tony Ramirez from Tampa Florida and on behalf of Expert Village these are the optional uses of a Playstation 3. Not just playing video games, this is a lot cooler. Alright, importing photos onto your Playstation 3?basically the only way, the two main ways you?re going to be doing this is either through the card reader that you'll have in the front of your Playstation 3 or though an external card reader that you can plug into your USB. Or hard drives of course that you may have a photo saved on. So if you?re taking your fancy photos whether they be on a simple you know standard point and click digital camera or some high end digital SLR, you just simply save them onto an external drive or just put the, or just put the memory card straight into the Playstation 3. Simply click on the device. I have a bunch of stuff, excuse me one second. I have a bunch of stuff that's saved on this hard drive right here. So I just go down to photos, click photos, and there?re all the photos I have. So what I want to do is, I just want to transfer these over to my drive. So I'll go ahead and hit back, hit my triangle for my options, and I want to hit copy. I want to copy all of these photos that are on this little hard drive onto the Playstation 3. Of course you click, you know X or enter if you're using the remote. And then it starts importing them. This is pretty quick also, just because it's just data transferring straight from a hard drive or memory card onto the hard drive of the Playstation 3 of course. Once I'm done I hit back, I hit back again. In the next chapter I'll show you exactly how we view them all. But if you want to import pictures, like I said you can use either your memory cards, hard drive or even the camera itself. But it's a great way to transfer photos onto your Playstation 3 for further review.
