Now basically what that is, is one, C is held as a dotted note. One-and-two-and...a dotted quarter note. Then G is an eighth note, and then playing in the second G, that's another dotted quarter note. And then the C here is an eighth note leading back to the quarter note, so it's like quarter note, eighth note, dotted quarter note, eighth note, dotted quarter note, eighth note. So hearing that in here, we'll make it into a ... that was like the turnaround right there. C, A, D, G... okay. That's one, you also have C and... C, D... basically, dotted quarter notes. Dotted quarter note C. Dotted quarter note G, and then regular quarter note G. So basically, if you're starting with a dotted quarter note, you can be pretty sure you're playing a Latin groove. So try some of those two out to start off.
