Hi I'm Stephanie Barnett on behalf of Expert Village. I'm here to show you how to make fennel soup. While you soup is cooking I want you to think about what you can be serving this soup with. First of all this soup is lovely with some croƻtons and some Parmesan cheese grated over the top of it. But you can also make some great cheese bread to go with it. All you need is some slice bread, some butter, and a little bit more of that Parmesan cheese. You can use some paprika, some garlic powder. You take the bread out, you put some butter on it. You pour the paprika on and some garlic powder and put the Parmesan cheese. Put it in the toaster oven or in the a regular oven and bake that up and that is a wonderful accompaniment to this soup. Also a nice cream salad would be nice with it and you can even chop of a little bit of the fennel to put in your salad. Make slices super paper thin in your salad so it is not so overwhelming of a fennel taste. It will be a really nice accompaniment to your soup. Add some fresh apples in with that fennel as well in your salad and that would add to the nice crunch.
