Hi! I am Monica and on behalf of Expert Village, I am going to show you another lower extremity exercise. This is a strengthening exercise. I am going to do with a physio ball, so what you are going to want to do is grab the ball and stick it up against the wall and comfortably in the small of your back (so you should be resting with the ball right against the small of your back so you are kind of leaning into the wall a little bit) We are actually going to do wall squats with this, so you want your feet a little bit far out in front of you. You should feel like if you did not have the ball behind you that you would fall backwards. Nice and comfortable width for the squats so however wide, just again nice and comfortable and then what you are going to do is just slowly bend down and just let the ball roll up your back, come back up. When you are doing these you want to make sure that your knees aren’t going over your toes. They can go right to your toes but do not go over; just a little bit harder on your knees so again just nice, slowly down, back up. You might need to start with 10 or 15 and then you can progress up from there.
