Complete Running Techniques

OK, so we've talked about posture, we've talked about stretches, we've talked about upper body alignment, heel to toe strike, your stride, drills, stretches, now we're going to put it all together and I'm going to demonstrate what it should look like to run effectively. So one, let's set it up. Your arms are hanging at your side right by your hips, hands are open, relaxed. I like to place my thumb right on top of my pointer finger. Shoulders are down, relaxed, abs are pulled in tight, you're looking straight ahead and we're applying all the principles that I've taught you so that you will run effectively. Now if you do all those things and you practice them I promise you, you will become a better runner. You'll race faster, you'll have less injuries and you'll feet better, you'll feel more confident. I have been running since I was about twelve years old and knock on wood, I haven't had an injury yet. So, I must be doing something right. I want you to take those principles and practice them so you can become an expert runner.
