Playing the 4th Note in a G Flat Flute Scale

The 4th note in the G flat major scale is C flat. Let's look at C flat on the staff. Here it is the 4th note. Let's look how you finger C flat on the flute you play the 1st finger and the thumb on the left hand. Just the pinkie in the right hand. Let's take a listen. Let's review the fingerings on the flute we have our 1st finger and the thumb in the left hand and we have the pinkie key on the right hand. Let's start from the beginning we have G flat moving up to the 2nd note a whole step A flat. Another whole step to B flat and then a half step up to the 4th note C flat. One thing to note about the flats is that from B flat the 3rd note to C flat the 4th note we have a half step. You only move one finger this is something to notice when playing fluently on the flute. Let's listen to the scale from the beginning. C flat is the 4th note.
