Playing the 3rd Note in a G Flat Flute Scale

The third note in the G flat major scale is B flat. Let's take a look at B flat on the staff. Here it is the 3rd note B flat. On the flute you are looking at this B flat. This is how you finger it you have 1st finger, thumb of the left hand and you have the 1st finger and pinkie on the right hand. This is how it sounds. Let's review the fingering on the flute we have the 1st finger, thumb on the left hand and 1st finger and pinkie on the right hand. Starting on scale back to the beginning 1st note is G flat. Second note going up a whole step is A flat. Going up another whole step to B flat the last note. Let's listen. B flat is our 3rd note.
