Now that we have gone over all the notes in the G flat major scale I will play it for you so you can hear how it sounds. You can hear that it follows the pattern of the whole and half steps. I'm going to quickly play a example of a whole step on the flute so you can hear it and then a half step. That is a whole step between the 2 notes. Here is a half step.
