Today I will be talking about how to play a G flat major scale on the flute. I will talk about what a G flat major scale is a collection of 7 different pitches that fulfill a pattern from the 12 available pitches of equal temperament. I will talk about how the scale is used, I will show how to play all of the notes on the G flat major scale on the flute going through one by one with demonstrations. I will talk about chords that come out of the G flat major scale and how they are used to help you play better within the sound. I will review all the chords and talk about different octaves that are used in the scale as well. By the end of this you should be playing in G flat major and here is a example what it sounds like.
