Many miniature orchids come from the area of the world where we have cloud forests. That are places where there is high mountains and the mountains tend to hold the cloud formation and as a consequence the plants are always held in a moisture environment and as an upset the flowers very typical fairly minute and sometimes blend right in the foliage we have some that are very showy and we have some that are so tiny but they make up for it by the fact that they produce hundreds of flowers at the same time. The most I have ever seen on one of these Cloud Forest plants when it was in flower was one plant that won a blue ribbon in a show and it had four thousand flowers open at the same time all of which were so tiny, you needed a magnifying glass to look at them and see what it looked like.
