Hi! I am Monica and on behalf of Expert Village, I am going to show you some more physio ball exercises and this one is another great one to do for your lower extremities or your leg muscles. What you are going to want to do is go ahead and lie down on your back. You can have the ball out in front of you here and just make yourself comfortable. Then what you are going to do is you are going to stick your legs on the top of the ball up and then you are just going to basically try and squeeze the ball with your legs - so you are bending your knees, you are squeezing and holding. You are going to hold for about five seconds and relax; hold again and relax. This is a really good exercise to do. It is an isometric exercise, meaning that even though I am contracting my hamstring muscles and my calf muscles to try and bend my knees, I am not actually getting much movement out of this but it is still a really good exercise. You just have to make sure that you hold it for about five seconds and then you can do three sets, five sets or however many you need.
