Playing the 5th Note in an E Flat Flute Scale

The 5th note in the E flat major scale is B flat. B flat is found right here on the staff. To play B flat on the flute we use the 1st finger and thumb of the left hand. We use the 1st finger and the pinkie key of the right hand. This fingering is for the B flat we are playing also a B flat a octave higher. This is how a B flat sounds in the staff. To review our scale up to this note we start on E flat go up a whole step to F go up another whole step to G. Half step to A flat and from A flat to B flat which is a tricky maneuver of the fingerings is another whole step. Let's look at the change from A flat to B flat one more time. I will play from the beginning. B flat was our last note.
