Playing the 3rd Note in an E Flat Flute Scale

The 3rd note in the E flat major scale is the note G. Let's look at G on the staff. To play a G on the flute you use the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and thumb key on the left hand and you use the pinkie key on the right hand. This is how it sounds. Starting from the bottom of our scale we have E flat to F which is a whole step and then F to G which is another whole step. Notice the finger movement between F and G t he last note. Let's review. G we learned our last note.
