Playing the 1st Note in an E Flat Flute Scale

The first note in the E flat major scale is E flat. This is also known as the root or the tonic of the scale since it is the first note. This is where E flat is on the staff. Let's look how to play in on the flute. On the flute you use the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and thumb on the left hand. You use the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and pinkie fingers on the right hand. This is how it sounds. Let's review the fingerings on the flute you have the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and thumb key on the left hand and you have the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and pinkie key on the right hand.
