RYAN LARSON: So now, that we have all these roots down and we've applied our appropriate chords, we can play through this whole tune, which I'm going to do for you right now, and I want to call out the actual root and you can see how it applies to this major scale we learned, right up to six, 1-2-3-4-5-6, then down to five, 1-7-6-5. So we started on our I major, to our flat VI major, flat 2-7, I major, to our iii minor, 6-7, ii minor, to our vii minor, 3-7, to our vi minor, to our seven-seven, to our III major, which went to our sharp 4 which was right here-no, our sharp 4 is right here-to our 7, to our iii minor, ii minor, 5 and then we went to vi minor, down to a 5, to 5-7, and then we're at the top again. So, by applying these different roots we can go through and find all the different chords, and then it's just a matter of getting them under your fingers and playing them in time.
