Counting in Japanese

Ok, let's count numbers in Japanese. Here's the list, repeat after me. One is ichi, two is ni, three is san, four is shi, or there is another pronunciation, its yon. We can use both shi or yon. Five, is go. Moving on six is roku, seven is nana, or another pronunciation is shiti. Eight is hachi, nine is kyu, and ten is jyu. Ok, let's play again. Write down your phone number, can you pronounce them in Japanese? You can cheat; you can look at the list. There is no way to cheat to memorize the numbers, just repeat. And a good way is to practice your home phone number.
