Advanced Bass Guitar: Walk Measures 5 - 6

So now we're at measures five and six, and we have this F sharp major chord, so our sharp four major. So we're going to take our C major scale, and start it on F sharp. So this is our C major, right, so if we have one, two, three, four, here is our F sharp, our sharp four. So we just take the same pattern. So we can utilize the same pattern we've learned starting with this as a root, our F sharp, or sharp four. And just notice how it's the same pattern as our C major, except now we don't have this top string to utilize, we only can utilize the top string and the string below it. And that's your F sharp major chord.
