Advanced Bass Guitar: Walk Measures 3 - 4

Now we're going to walk through measures three and four, and we have our flat three, right, one, two, three. So it's right there. But the only problem is is the minor scale we utilize is moving backwards, so we can't utilize that scale. So we're going to re-approach that chord. So if we have C, D is in E flat right here as well, so we can play our flat three right here, and it's on the fret right above the second dot on the third string, and we'll just utilize that same minor scale. So now we can walk our first two measures into our second two, so we start with our C minor, same scale pattern. To a flat three. We just slide that pattern up. One, flat three, one, flat three, back to your one. So by taking the same pattern and moving it to the different roots, we can utilize all these different chord changes with just one scale.
