Hi! I am Monica and on behalf of Expert Village, I am going to show you some exercises you can do with the physio ball. This first exercises is a range of motion exercise just a kind of warm up those muscles and the joints in your legs. You are going to want to lie on your back and go ahead and start with your heels on the ball. You are going to want to bend the ball towards you as far as you can so you are bending your hips, bending your knees. And then you are going to do just the opposite, roll the ball out underneath you, so you are straightening out your knees and you are kind of straightening out your hips a little bit, so it is nice and slow, back and forth. This exercise is primarily going to be warming up the knees; we also will get the hips as well, so again nice and slow, back and forth. You are not looking to necessarily stretch any of the muscles or strengthen any of the muscles; just warming yourself up, get the blood warm up a little more, get your body ready to do some of those strengthening exercises that I will show you later, nice and gentle. I am going to do it 20-30 of these or you can do it 30 seconds or a minute’s worth.
