Hello, my name is Amy Staggs and on behalf of Expert Village here is my recipe for Amy’s Easy Bean Dip. So Amy’s Easy Bean Dip, it came about when I came home after a trip and my husband had eaten us kind of out of house and home and there were only a few staple ingredients left in the cupboard and fridge including nachos. So I took four or five main staple ingredients, combined them in a food processor and I had a really, really tasty bean dip and the cool thing about this bean dip is that it’s very, very base, so you can add hot sauce, you can add cheese, you can add salsa, you can dress it up really easily. But by itself, it spreads easily on crackers, my husband even eats it with a spoon, so it’s perfect just by itself, and again, it’s very easy to dress up if you want too, and super, super easy, most people have these ingredients in their cupboards already. So all right, let’s get started making the bean dip. Now I have here before me an array of different ways you can dress up the bean dip. So this is everything that I have used to put in the, the original bean dip. Um, I have cheese, I have parsley, you can also do cilantro, garlic, hot sauce, and flax seed even, but let’s take away all those complicated extra items, and just start with the staples. What you will need to make this bean dip, you’re going to need canned pinto beans, you’re going to need garlic, you’re going to need parsley, either fresh or dried, salt and pepper, olive oil, and vinegar and either a blender or a food processor to blend it all together, I’m going to use a food processor today. So there we go, there are our base ingredients for Amy’s Easy Bean Dip.
