How to Play Octaves on the Flute in E Major

We have now learned the notes of the E major scale on the flute. Let's look at the scale on the staff as we play and you listen. Let's review the scale focusing on the fingers. I have played one octave of the E major scale. A octave is between the first E and the 2nd E. When you get to be a more advance player you can play multiple octaves of the scale. We have the octave that we have just learned and starting from the E where we finished off you can go up one more octave and play the E major scale again. This is what a 2 octave scale sounds like. Once you have learned the 1st octave of the E major scale it would be great to learn the 2nd octave to be able to move around in a full range of the flute of E major.
