How to Play the 7th Note in a E Major Flute Scale

The 7th note of the E major scale is D sharp. Let's look at D sharp in the staff we have D sharp by the key signature. Also D sharp. On the flute D sharp is played with 2nd, 3rd, thumb key of the left hand. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and pinkie in the right hand. This is how it sounds. Let's review on the flute 2nd, 3rd, thumb in left hand. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, pinkie in the right hand. Let's review the scale from the beginning E to F sharp whole step. F sharp whole step. F shaper to G sharp whole step. G sharp to A half step. A to B whole step. B to C sharp whole step. C sharp to D sharp whole step. D sharp is our 7th note. To get back to E you move up one half step to E which you recall from the beginning is fingered the same as the low key. Let's hear the scale from the bottom to the top. The E major scale.
