How to Play the 5th Note in a E Major Flute Scale

The 5th note in the E major scale is B. Let's look at B in the staff here it is the 5th note. On the flute B is fingered with the 1st finger and the thumb in the left hand and the pinkie in the right hand. Let's look at the fingerings again we have 1st and thumb in the left hand, pinkie in the right hand. Let's start our scale from the beginning E to F sharp whole step. F sharp to G sharp whole step. G sharp to A half step and A to B whole step. Notice again how the fingers keep getting more lifted up. Let me play from the beginning. B is our 5th note and it is a whole step above the 4th note.
