How to Play the 4th Note in a E Major Flute Scale

The 4th note is A let's look at A on the staff. Here is the 4th note A, A notice how there is a half step in the major scale pattern in between G sharp and A. A is natural in which is only a half step. Let's look how to play A on the flute. We have the 1st and 2nd, thumb finger is covered in the left hand and the pinkie covered in the right hand. This is how it sounds. Let's review the fingerings looking at the flute. You have the 1st, 2nd, thumb key of the left hand, pinkie key in the right hand. Let's start our scale from the beginning, we have E to F sharp whole step. F sharp to G sharp whole step and G sharp to A natural which is a half step. Notice how the fingers keep moving up, this should make it easy for flute players to play the scale and remembering how the finger pattern goes as well. Let's take a listen from the beginning. A is our 4th note.
