In the key of F major we start the major scale from the 1st note or the root F. We would now go over all of the notes in the F major scale. Which follows the whole and half step pattern I have talked about for any major scale. The 1st note we have is F go up a whole step to G another whole step to A. A half step to B flat which you can see I added a flat sign to the B this changes it from its natural state. Also it is why it is a half step. Then from B flat from C is a whole step, from C to D is a whole step, and from D to E is a whole step. You can see there is only one change from the natural note from the scale which is B flat. This B flat represented in the key signature it is what makes F major scale F major scale. I will now play for you what the F major scale sounds like.
