Today I will be talking about how to play a F major scale on the flute. I will go over what a major scale is which is a collection of 7 notes made up of a pattern of whole and half steps from the 12 available notes in western music. I will talk about how to play each of these notes on the flute. Go over the fingerings with you. I will talk about the key signature of F major and how arpeggios are made from the scale to play certain chords from F major. I will also play some examples in F major. At the end of this lesson you will be very fluent and you wold be able to recognize the key of F major and to play music in it. Here is some examples of F major.
