How to Play the 6th Note in a D Major Flute Scale

The 6th note in the D major scale is B. Let's look at B on the staff B is right here. To play it on the flute we use the 1st and thumb in the left hand and just the pinkie in the right hand. This is how it sounds. Here is a review of the fingers of B 1st in the left hand, pinkie in the right hand. Starting our scale from B we go from D up a whole step to E. E whole step to F sharp. F sharp half step to G. G whole step to A and A whole step to B. Notice the facility of moving the fingers again. B is the 6th note.
